Das AAT ist eine deliktspezifische, sozialpädagogisch-psychologische
Behandlungsmaßnahme für gewalttätige Wiederholungstäter (www.prof-jensweidner.
de). Das Ziel des Trainings ist die Gewaltneigung und damit auch
Gewalthandlungen von Personen zu verringern, die bereits durch mehrfache oder
besonders heftige Gewalttaten auffällig geworden sind (Ohlemacher 2001: 3). In
Konfrontation mit Gewalt ablehnenden Personen sollen die Täter einen
Wandlungsprozess durchmachen, sich von der Gewalt ab- und ihrem neuen
Selbstbild zuwenden, sodass sie später, nach erfolgreichem Absolvieren des
Trainings, für eine gewaltfreie Lösung von Konflikten einstehen und somit „aus dem
Schläger ein `Friedensagent` wird“ (Heilemann 1998: 228).
Das AAT ist auf einem lerntheoretisch-kognitiven Paradigma basierend (Kilb,
Weidner 2002: 298). Die lerntheoretischen Aspekte des Trainings zielen dabei darauf
ab, die Anwendung von Gewalt konkret zu verlernen, indem die Personen in
individuellen Provokationstests lernen sollen, sich aus diesen ohne
Gewaltanwendung zu befreien, um dann durch die Gruppe in ihrem Handeln bestärkt
zu werden. Die kognitiven Elemente des Trainings sollen eine Einstellungsänderung
erzeugen. Dabei ist vor allem wichtig, Opferempathie beim Täter herzustellen (Kilb,
Weidner 2002: 298).
Das zentrale aspect des AAT ist der „heiße Stuhl“. Hierbei soll das Ausleben der
Konfrontation das Bewusstsein der aggressiven Männer verändern und Nachgeben
und kritische Reflexion erzeugt werden (Weidner 2001: 10). Der „heiße Stuhl“ oder
„hot seat“ geht in seinen Grundideen auf den „leeren Stuhl“ des Psychodramas von
Moreno zurück, bei dem der Klient einen Konflikt mit seinem imaginären
Konfliktgegner, welcher auf dem „leeren Stuhl“ sitzt, austrägt und bewältigt. Später wandelte der Gestalttherapeut Fritz Perls dieses Konzept als Methode der
Gewalttherapie zum „hot seat“ um, bei dem auf dem Stuhl die zu behandelnde
Person Platz nimmt.
