Von Unternehmensseite ist zu bedenken, dass eine misslungene Reintegration den übrigen Stammhaus-Mitgliedern nicht verborgen bleibt. Vielmehr spricht sich diese unbefriedigend verlaufene Wiedereingliederung wie ein „Lauffeuer“ herum und trägt zusätzlich zur aufkommenden „Auslandsmüdigkeit“ bei. Als Grund für eine „auslandsmüde“ Einstellung wird oft die Angst vor der Rückkehr ins Stammhaus genannt. Überdies ist die Wiedereingliederung wahrscheinlich der Teil des Auslandsentsendungsprozesses, welcher am häufigsten übersehen wird.1
Diese Abhandlung greift das Problemfeld der Repatriierung von Führungskräften auf. Probleme der Wiedereingliederung im privaten und beruflichen Umfeld werden genannt, die Lösungswege der genannten Wiedereingliederungsprobleme werden im Folgenden diskutiert. Bei der Diskussion liegt der Fokus auf personalwirtschaftlicher Ebene. Psychologische, soziologische, arbeits-, sozial- und steuerrechtliche Probleme werden im Rahmen dieser Betrachtungen nur kurz angerissen.
